Whilst checkered patterns are seemingly all the rage now, I chose to opt for a more subtle option in achieving a similar result, creating this look via my midi skirt,another trend cropping up in people's summer closets. Now any of our readers who have devoted their souls to the world of haute couture, would have picked up on this outfit's resemblance to the Chris by Christopher Bu Spring 2013 Collection. As firm believers in fashion found at a reasonable price, we were certainly not spending those big bucks on a casual summer day's outfit, so a more wallet friendly alternative seemed apt. We aren't stealing all of Mr Bu's thunder though as his collection was perfect for getting those creative juices flowing. The end result; the exact same look found on Cichic and that too at one-eighth of the price. Rounded it off with my favourite sandals this summer to add a pop of colour and white toe-nails.

DeleteI love a little couture for less! The "grid" always just reminds me of Tron but this is so great! And umm I'm kinda in love with those sandals! Where did you get them? I'm in love.
