Spring has sprung in Sydney and it’s time to bring all the floral numbers and breezy dresses out to play.  One such favourite of ours is this velvet red dress, perfect for a Spring night out when the breeze still has a little chill to it. 

As we mentioned previously in our velvet in summer guide, when opting for this fabric in spring/summer, we tend to gravitate towards easy, billowing cuts as opposed to the fitted variety. This makes the slip dress the perfect option in our books — simple, delicate and sexy.
