Inspiration -  Aquilno.Rimond Spring 2018 Ready to Wear

Ask any  eager new model on the block or a veteran style guru and they'll agree on one thing: a black and blue denim jacket is a must-have for spring and autumn. It's an established style staple that really can go with all colours and prints. But if like me, you feel tempted to put a twist on the classic, you can opt for a white denim jacket instead. It's underrated, probably because whites are tricky and not for the clumsy, but it can be fun, albeit not as versatile. I'll admit, having tested out mine this season, it looks awkward with solid colours and strong prints but it's strengths lie in being able to elevate a more subtle monochromatic outfit in the way only grungy denim can.

Personally, I'll be the first to admit that the thought of getting lipstick marks or dropping your penne carbonara on a crisp white shirt or dress can be incentive to put it back in the closet. But, the fabric is durable and it can be easily taken off -- so as goes the reckless bad ass image associated with denim jackets, this is the perfect garb to take a chance in white.
