Arrowtown

Channeling my inner bumblebee...in this black polka dot top and nostalgia inducing yellow skirt that our earlier readers would remember featuring here. The entire outfit for a mere $30 bucks despite impeccable quality makes it all the more special. Infact, Aanchal loves this top so much she capered around in Capri (see what I did there) in it and insists on wearing it at least once a week to work. A purchase from our humble Australian Valley Girl, it was initially just an afterthought but the thick material of the top hinted at companionship for years to come. Of course like the ideal younger sister, I must lay hands on her clothes so here it is, yours truly, Bumblebee.

Anyway, enough about the outfit, continuing our New Zealand series, these photos were shot in Arrowtown. It is a small town, some 20 minutes from Queenstown and was on the way as we drove from Mt cook to Queenstown. We had heard about Arrowtown's charms but were still quite surprised at just how incredibly cute it was.We were quite taken with it and even had some lunch there (who knew cashew and pumpkin pizza could taste so good?!!!?!?) whilst winding down from the drive.

If I was asked to sum up Arrowtown in a sentence, I'd say it felt like a town decorated by the directors of Typo.
